New builds in Ireland are expensive. You're paying a premium for a new product that is your blank canvas, a premium for a high BER and a premium due to costs like vat and developer profits.
So you need to make sure that the property is finished to the highest possible standard before you accept handover.
Although most builders in Ireland do finish properties to a good standard, the average number of snags we find on a property is 40-50. These are mostly minor issues, but they should still not be there.
When a Snag List is complete it will be returned to the builder. The builder will have to fix all of the issues identified on the Snag List before the property is marked as complete and handed over.
