Engineer's Reports in Dublin for purchasing a house or apartment

Updated: Dec 1, 2023

If you are buying a second-hand property in Dublin or anywhere else in Ireland, you're going to want an engineer's report conducted on the property before you sign contracts.

This report will give a breakdown of the structural condition of the property, including any visible indication of damage caused by faulty foundations, bricks, or roofs. The report should also give an overview of the general condition throughout the property, including any issues caused by poor maintenance or normal wear and tear.

A good engineer will also give a list of any changes to the property which may require certificates of compliance or exemption and flag any potential boundary issues for your legal advisor.

GetHouseSurvey.ie are Dublin's most popular surveyors and engineers. In 2022 we conducted more reports and received more 5-star reviews than any other company.

Our reports are conducted to a far higher level of detail than the industry standard which is the SCSI Type 2 model.
