GetHouseSurvey.ie offer Pre Purchase Structural Survey for a set price depending on property type and size as follows:€599 (including VAT) for any size apartment€649 (including VAT) for any size duplex€699 for houses up to 100m²€749 for houses 101 to 175m²€849 for larger houses from 176 - 300m² All prices include VAT so there are no hidden extras.

What is a House Survey?

A House Survey (sometimes called pre-purchase survey, building survey, structural survey etc.) is a visual inspection of the current condition of the property.  It is designed to give you a professional opinion on the condition of the property so that you can make an informed decision on whether or not to sign contracts and proceed with the purchase. At GetHouseSurvey.ie all our surveys are carried out by a qualified surveyors and gives you a great overview of the condition of the property, how much work will be needed.  A house survey is sometimes a re-requisite for mortgage approval from your bank or financial institute. Our reports are accepted by all lenders in Ireland.

What is in a Survey?

A survey is a written report produced by a surveyor who will visit the property. The written report gives you an overview of the condition of the property. This includes the structural condition, right down to smaller issues caused by poor maintenance or general wear and tear.

How does the Process Work?

Make making booking a survey straight forward! Book and Pay Online in just 2 minutes.
We then assign the next available surveyor who covers the area.
Our surveyor contacts the estate agent (or private seller) to arrange access to the property. Once this is done they'll update you via email.
Our surveyor then visits the property, conducts the survey and within 2 working days we will email you the completed report.

Are your Surveyors Qualified?

Yes. All of our surveyors are experienced in carrying out residential surveys, are registered with a governing body and hold professional indemnity insurance. Surveyors can come from a number of fields which include, Architects, Architectural Technologists, Building Surveyors and Engineers.Building Surveyors are registered with SCSI and/or RICSEngineers are registered with Engineers IrelandArchitects and Architectural Technologists are registered with RIAI.All surveys carry PI Inusurance with cover of at least €1m

Yes all surveyors are covered under their own Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance. Or for surveyors directly employed by GetHouseSurvey.ie they are covered under our own PI Insurance. All cover is to a minimum of €1,000,000.
